Join our Baseband Automotive and Broadcast Division in Dresden or München (Germany) at the earliest possible date.
In this thesis a near field object detector shall be developed using hardware of a radar echo generator. During this thesis the functionality shall be implemented into a system with Xilinx Ultrascale+ FPGA, AD/DA converters and millimeter wave frontend.
Your tasks
- Definition of a suitable algorithm
- Definition of waveforms (e.g. FMCW, PMCW, OFDM) showing best results for the given hardware
- Implementation of the signal processing in FPGA, where the infrastructure and certain functionalities are already available, e.g. arbitrary waveform Generator, NCO, sample recorder
- Development of control software optionally in C++, Python or Matlab
